Passing of the Baton from INTERSPEECH 2018 to INTERSPEECH 2019

The closing ceremony of INTERSPEECH 2018 took place in Hyderabad on Sep 6, 2018. Under the auspices of ISCA president John H.L. Hansen, the outgoing 2018 General Chair Bayya Yegnanarayana passed on the baton to the incoming 2019 General Chair Gernot Kubin [photo left]. Both Yegna and John were presented with a tee shirt advertising INTERSPEECH 2019 and its theme “Crossroads of Speech and Language” [photo right].
